The new Derby County shirt by adidas. Sent to me by my good friend there, Mik. Derby County has a special place in me as, besides it's my mate Mik's local team, I've been there myself back in 2004 to visit the stadia, the city and understanding what it means to support the local teams there in Derby. I checked out the other teams in Derby as well such as Belper Town (come on Belper!!), Matlock Town & Alfreton. Thanks Mik!! Hope you'll like the Hairuddin Omar Malaysia nike shirt!

Some shirts obtained, cheaply, from the wonderful phenomenon on the streets of KL called 'bundles stores'!

1) Denmark home by Hummel, as worn in the 1998 France World Cup
2) Mitsubishi Urawa (now Urawa Reds) home shirt by Mizuno (needs restoration work!)
3) Oita Trinity (now Oita Trinita) home shirt by Mizuno (also needs restoration work)
4) the mighty Tualatin Thunderbolts FC youth team shirt!
5) and not to be outdone, the City of Plymouth, Michigan youth team shirt!

West Germany retro shirts found at Reject Shop outlet!

1) White home shirt (Long Sleeve) as the one worn by Der Kaiser in '74 World Cup!

2) The black away one from the 50's, Styled as per the one worn by the great West Germany team that featured Fritz Walter, Helmut Rahn, Max Morlock etc (see the movie 'The Miracle Of Bern')

And each obtained at the very ridiculous price of RM 29.90!

TRIBUTE SHIRTS : IRAQ's Golden Boy, Younis Mahmoud.

I was inspired to 'prepare' these 2 shirts by Iraq's coach (Jorvan Viera) in one of his comments, that he don't care what type of shirts Iraq will be wearing in their next match, they can wear anything for all his care, so long as they perform as a unit & get the job done ...

Iraq wore Umbro in their recent victorious Asian Cup campaign. But they also wore many brands in recent times, Jack & Jones, Diadora etc depending on whatever they can get hold of, to serve their needs.

In a 'tribute' to that, here's my own versions of Iraq's Younis shirts. The home one, green is by a cheap hypermarket brand, Veiker while the away one is by Umbro. Got the Iraqi flag at my friend's tore in town. Cheers!
